On Friday, 3 April 2026, Dexion Storage Solutions, part of the international Gonvarri Material Handling Group, had the honor of welcoming an official delegation to its facility in Râșnov. The delegation included the Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Mr. Ambrozie‑Irineu Darău, the Mayor of Râșnov, Mr. Horia Motrescu, together with the Deputy Mayor and local councilors of the Râșnov Municipality.
The visit aimed to foster direct dialogue on the role of industry in local economic development, the importance of investment in production and innovation, as well as the balance between the industrial and tourism sectors in a community with strong potential such as Râșnov.
The agenda included discussion sessions and presentations delivered by the Dexion Storage Solutions management team, a visit to the showroom and production facilities, as well as the laboratory and areas dedicated to prototyping and research. Topics addressed during the meeting included local production capabilities, export activity, technology, and know‑how.

Under the leadership of Ms. Alice Stănescu, Managing Director, Dexion Storage Solutions Râșnov operates as one of the city’s most important employers and actively contributes to positioning Romania on the global map of logistics and storage solutions.

An important focus of the discussions was placed on structural safety requirements and seismic design standards, including the application of P100 regulations. Dexion representatives presented the company’s approach to the design, testing, and adaptation of storage systems to local seismic conditions. This technical exchange highlighted the importance of responsible engineering and compliance with the highest safety standards.

The visit confirmed the value of open dialogue between public administration, industry, and the local community, as well as the role of sustainable industrial investment in the long‑term development of cities.
